Organizational Inertia, Digital Capabilities, Digital Transformation, and Firm Competencies

Research Aims: This research aims to look at the impact of organizational inertia on digital capabilities and transformation optimise firm competencies. Design/Methodology/Approach: The dataset was produced through a quantitative survey 125 Indonesian businesses using Structural Equation Model (SEM) analyse data. Findings: results this study indicate that indirectly business competencies due inertia. While affects but not transformation, latter both firm's skills. Theoretical Contribution/Originality: contributes literatures behaviour strategic management by investigating achievement its Managerial Implication in South East Asian context: findings embrace practices enhancing firms' capabilities, particularly response, opportunity identification, innovative technology product development, acquisition, mastery cutting-edge technologies. Limitation & Implications: reflect conditions numerous enterprises operating several industry sectors Indonesia during chaotic post-COVID-19 pandemic period.
